Overview of Initial Assignment

Brickendon Consulting have existing projects with a number of top tier clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing oversight across the Procurement & Expenses functional domain, including management of interdependencies across other Fusion modules (especially Finance) and legacy systems.
• Responsible for ensuring the Procurement and Expenses system and processes effectively address functional and business process needs from an intercompany recharge and P&E perspective.
• Provide direction and SME expertise around the functional analysis, process and operational design, supporting the technical solution architects’ interpretation of requirements, piloting and full system deployment and change and implementation approach for impacted stakeholders.
• To work in close collaboration with the functional leadership across Company and Service Company Finance functions.
• Drive the ownership and acceptance of functional requirements across the stakeholder framework both globally and locally within country.
• To ensure appropriate senior stakeholders are effectively consulted and engaged on the programme, involving them in decision-making and working to create buy-in to transformational changes.
• The role must provide industry and solution leadership at every stage of the process lifecycle, working alongside the technical solution architect. Key to success will be the appropriate interpretation and stipulation of requirements to ensure a scalable and globally appropriate solution.
• The Functional SME will also have responsibility for the attending and advising the Procurement & Expenses Design Authority.

Skills & Requirements

• Delivery of Global Procurement Transformation projects.
• Strong leadership with experience of effective team management.
• Experience of working with Oracle modules (or other ERP systems), preferably Oracle Fusion + 10 years minimum.
• Experience of working in large, complex, multi-functional programmes is essential.
• Experience working with Supplier / Vendor Relationship
• Experience with Supplier Networks (e.g. Ariba/Tradeshift)
• Experience of working in a Procurement function (or on Procurement-related projects) is desirable.
• Experience of managing senior stakeholder relationships within technology and design teams.
• Excellent influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills to all levels.
• Effective planning and project management skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Creative approach to problem solving and outcome focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
• The ability to work with a diverse and geographically dispersed business teams.
• A highly motivated and pro-active self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Flexible worker who demonstrates adaptability.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint.
