Overview of Initial Assignment

Brickendon Consulting have existing projects with a number of banks, asset managers & hedge funds firms across Poland where we have been engaged to provide teams of Analysts to deliver process, regulatory and optimisation change.

For one of our projects we are looking for an experienced PMO that will be supporting US project (late shift hours).

The PMO helps to deliver the change in a way that ensures the right rigor and control discipline is applied, and that projects are delivered to the same consistent standard across programme and PODs by using the Change Framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrates working knowledge of Change Framework and stands as key guardian of it being followed by POD / Project teams.
• Tracks, reviews and controls POD / project progress and performance at clearly defined points in the process ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget; anticipating potential risks and issues, assisting with putting mitigating actions into place to prevent delivery stalling and escalating as appropriate.
• Providing any programme specific tools, techniques and templates required by the Project Lead that are required for delivery in line with the ISO20022 programme guideline.
• Assistance on oversight over the projects within the POD, and quality adherence to the processes contained within Change Framework.
• Guidance on risk and issue, dependency, milestone, change control management, reporting and communication.
• Assistance with closure activities, including lessons learnt, post project review and handover and quality assurance.
• Assistance with the completion of documentation and update of systems as required.
• Meeting co-ordination and facilitation.
• Roles as required by the Project Lead to aid successful delivery of the programme.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in programme/project management role on complex projects across countries or regions.
• Understanding of the Programme and Project lifecycle; including working knowledge of Project Management methodologies, PMO processes and best practice techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Experience with running meetings in English over video or teleconference.
• PMP or MSP training or certification is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on late shift (2-10 p.m. CET)
