Overview of Initial Assignment

Brickendon Consulting have existing projects with a number of banks and have been engaged to provide teams of Business Analysts to deliver regulatory and transformation change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• To work closely with Market Risk Management, Market Risk Analyst, Group Risk Quantitative Analytics and Risk IT to ensure common understanding of Business Requirements.
• To work extensively on Data Analytics with the above functions, understanding Data processes and use as per project requirements
• To participate and own documentation of relevant Business Requirements (eg EPICs and Stories in JIRA)
• Understand the front to back flows of the complex CVA infrastructure & peripheral products and provide requirements for upstream systems to meet the requirements.
• To be able to prepare status reports as and when needed by Project and Program Managers, identify “defects” in the process and escalate to management.
• Strong Team Player – To be able to work as part of a larger team spanning various functions (Risk IT, Quants, Risk-Managers, Bas and other)

Skills & Requirements

• Must have not less than 5 years’ Business Analysis experience, ideally delivering within large financial institutions /investment banks.
• 2+ Years Business Analysis experience working on FRTB SA CVA or FRTB Projects
• Clear and in-depth understanding of FRTB Regulations is a must, ideally extending into FRTB SA CVA
• Will have basic knowledge of Credit Products & Derivatives, ideally extending into CVA or similar experience in Counterparty Credit Risk functions
• Ability to coordinate actions between the various stakeholders (locally and with the Group) in an efficient manner
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving and an attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills and a positive attitude and focus
• Efficient use of tools and techniques such as Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to deal with change
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
