August 1, 2018

Brickendon Partner and data expert Nathan Snyder features in the latest edition of Global Banking & Finance review (issue 12) discussing GDPR’s international reach.

In the countdown to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into force on 25 May 2018, the majority of businesses only considered the implications of this within EU boundaries and not something that US companies need to worry about. Failing to do so can severely delay the chances of businesses operating effectively across international markets.

Businesses should see complying with GDPR as an opportunity and make the way they handle data a selling point and a strong platform to grow and evolve in today’s data-driven world.
