Brickendon CEO Chris Burke is to speak at the Center for Financial Professional’s New Generation Operational Risk:Europe conference in March.
Burke, who is founder and CEO of Brickendon Consulting and EUCplus, will address the audience on removing operational risk through comprehensive spreadsheet governance.
Successfully managing, tracking and maintaining spreadsheets containing business-critical information is becoming increasingly difficult for large organisations. Failing to do this, can open them up to financial and reputational damage.
Burke, whose expertise lies in the area of end-user computing, and in particular spreadsheets, will share his experiences with the conference attendees and offer advice on how to address the issue. He will also outline details of EUCplus, a newly developed application which provides an end-to-end process to remove the risks associated with spreadsheet use.
EUCplus takes what is traditionally an extremely labour-intensive, manually-handled task, and converts it into a straight-forward, intuitive process, which can be used across all levels of the organisation and implemented quickly (around six months for even the largest clients).
