GDPR – More than just an EU regulation, Brickendon’s Snyder talks to Intercontinental Finance & Law magazine

Brickendon’s data expert, Partner Nathan Snyder discusses the implications of GDPR for companies outside of the EU in the latest edition of Intercontinental Finance & Law magazine.

Many businesses have generally looked at GDPR as being an issue only relevant to companies based in the EU, with those in the US not being concerned about it. However, this is not the case, any US-based company that conducts business in the EU or deals with a EU database will need to comply with the legislation.

GDPR should not be viewed as another regulatory burden but more of an opportunity to grow and progress in today’s data-driven world.
